Singer-songwriter and rapper Quest dropped his newest track, “Infinity,” on Friday, August 19.
The record, published under Warner Music Philippines, is a collaboration between Quest and singer-songwriter, John Roa, also known as JRoa. A team-up that, according to Quest, is deemed to be one of his favorite music collaborations ever and is “long overdue but worth it.”
Infinity is a romantic track that renders a narrative about a love that never ends— one that goes beyond time and space as it carries a transcending phenomenal bond.
The record features a striking dynamic range of layers of upbeat, rhythmic, and gritty tunes—evoking an atmosphere fuelled with energetic and powerful reverie. The lyrical arrangement showcases a poetic approach, reckoning a natural yet palpable storytelling structure.
On release day, Infinity debuted at number three on Spotify’s elusive and sought-after playlist, New Music Friday. The song landed on top of the chart, seemingly signifying a representation of one “buzz-worthy” track headed for an even greater feat hereafter.
Other creatives behind the notable arrangement of this track include Jose Villanueva III, who co-wrote the song with JRoa, Kris Malana, and producer Thyro Alfaro who also mixed and mastered the record.
You can stream Infinity on all digital music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
