Paul Pablo takes us to an empowering dimension with his new single ‘Kalawakan’

21-year-old Filipino singer-songwriter Paul Pablo drops another single, ‘Kalawakan’, his second single under Warner Music Philippines, since he signed under the label in February 2021.

Released last June 18th, ’Kalawakan’ can lead you to a whole new interstellar space, away from all the concept of chaos and fear in reality, as it tells a story of gallantly fighting off and letting go of all stifle feelings that hinder our ability to reach our dreams. It illustrates a tale of defying all odds and turmoil to finally cave into the depths of our emotions, for in another dimension, a lustrous world awaits — where dreams come true.

Paul Pablo’s resonant and sonorous vocals fit the blend of synth and electro-pop tunes in ‘Kalawakan’, highlighting hollow yet powerful emotions sharply defined in the song.

The Davao-based Filipino artist professes his desire to lift the rainbow flag in the music industry through translating his imagination into music and visuals as he tackles issues of love, identity, and social tension.

In 2020, he premiered his single called ‘Bai’ fully crafted and produced by himself. And in 2021, he signed under Warner Music Philippines and released his single ‘Bangin’, which became part of the official soundtrack of Carlo Morris Galang’s online BL series, ‘My Toxic Lover’.

’Kalawakan’ is out on Spotify, Apple Music, and other digital streaming platforms. The official lyric video produced by Kyle Pulido of 3AM and Jhay Ehidio of Y ARA, is also available on Paul Pablo’s YouTube channel.
