About "Hindi Ko Alam"

Hindi Ko Alam

"It's really all about uncertainties in certain 'situationships' that are quite popular in today's culture," shares the band. "Hindi Ko Alam" is a city pop anthem that encapsulates the specific feeling of uncertainty. The song invites listeners to reflect during their commutes, whether driving, riding a UV express, or in the MRT, capturing the bustling city lights and the solitude of one's thoughts.

The band consciously minimized layers in the track, opting for an easy pocket rhythm to help listeners digest the song better. Drawing inspiration from city pop themes of the 80s, the band took cues from artists such as Randy Santiago, Gary Valenciano, Manilyn Reynes, The Doobie Brothers, Robbie Dupree, and Michael Jackson. The result is a nostalgic and melancholic sound that resonates with classic city pop.

Emmie, Pau, Ryan, Tep, and JT persist crafting music in small rooms, promising even bigger sounds as they continue their musical journey. "Hindi Ko Alam" is released on January 19, 2024.
