Cebuano alt-pop band, Sepia Times is back with an intimate, somber track called “Out Of His Head”, a personal story of falling into a downward spiral. It walks around the topic of how existence and one’s own consciousness can feel like a heavy curse. It features the vocals of Luigi Balazo, whose general role in the band was songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer.
Reminiscent of the band’s old sound originally present in their 2016 EP “1238”, the track is a breath of fresh air from their previously released singles “Fade to Black” and “Pills”, which they’ve described as more “electronic, gritty, and synth-driven.” The track serves as a peek into what else the band has to offer as they prepare the release of their long-awaited two-chapter album “The Art of Human”, the first chapter rumored to be published within the first quarter of this year. Out Of His Head is now available on Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music and all digital streaming platforms.
