Ely Buendia posted 4 hours ago and we were all sent back to the 90s.
Last seen together last August 30, 2008 when they went on to do Final Set 2, the fandom prayed hard to the music Gods that it will have Final Set Final Set, Final Set Na Talaga To, Final Set For Sure or Final Set Promise. Now we are finally getting it. The band composed of Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala and Marcus Adoro is set to reunites once more on stage at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Paranaque on December 22, 2023.
They are the ones responsible for the songs of generations which happen to become personal to some. Personal in a sense that we let our stories unfold growing up with these songs in the background. It's not just about listening to Toyang or Minsan or Overdrive. Along side each song, each line, we are reminded of something. Whether it's your first head over heels moment or your first breakup or just one of those college inuman, their materials speak of the good times. And no one will say no to the good old days.

It suddenly sinks in to us who we are from the time we first plug in those cassettes and went to 'Alapaap'. The moment they broke up and reminisce to 'Minsan'. The authentic joy we felt when they announced the first reunion and how it felt bittersweet thinking it's the last. But things change and life happens. We will still attend the reunion. We want to see and hear the Eheads we all loved and the changes they got with time.
And as they keep on doing these reunion gigs, the story keeps on unfolding. That is why let's see each other on December 22 to see where this goes.
For those who just found out who they are because it's trending on social media, listen to them here. They just happen to be the ones in charge of influencing a generation of talented musicians that we follow today.
