Hannah Clarissa Manzano, most popularly known as DJ Hannah Ichiko, is one of the top resident DJs of House Manila in Resorts World Manila. She's opened and closed shows for artists such as Tyga, Kid Ink, and Rich Brian, to name a few. Her talent is so impressive that she has been invited to perform at major events not only in the Philippines but also in several prestigious clubs across Asia.
FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS TO INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN DJ
DJ Hannah Ichiko started her career roughly about 11 years ago after graduating from Tourism Management Program. Although at first it just started out as seems to be a hobby, DJ Hannah tried DJing as a side hustle in her last year as a Flight Attendant. As difficult as it was, she fell sick as a result of the time and physical exertion needed. She then eventually decided to be a full-time DJ in 2017.
“一 I chose DJing because for me I feel happy with it. Kasi iba yung [when you] work sa company and you’re not happy, you’re not satisfied...wala you’re just wasting your time. Sobrang love ko kasi talaga yung DJing and I love music so ayun yung nag-pursue sakin na, okay, I’ll stick with DJing nalang.” DJ Hannah revealed in her interview in one of our HUEmood episodes last year with H and Vino R. DJ Hannah builds her career way even better when she started working as a resident DJ at House Manila in Resorts World Manila moments later. After several major gigs locally, she then was invited to play to the most prestigious clubs in Asia and internationally-renowned rappers’ concerts. Now she’s also playing side by side with DJ Dara Carmina as a distinctly popular female DJ duo known as ZKiTTLEZ.
