Manila, Philippines — Having earned a reputation through hard work as a hyper-successful DJ, producer, and entrepreneur, HOEST's public persona embodies the grind of never stopping, of relentlessly creating. But there's a quiet and more intimate side to the multifaceted artist away from the bright stage lights, and we're here to share them.
"It was a risk but I knew in my heart I really wanted to do this," HOEST recalls, reflecting on his journey to becoming a DJ. Having started as a host, promoter, and events ambassador in the nightlife industry, the Philippine-based DJ made the leap to take up the decks in earnest in 2018.
The desire to fully immerse himself in the DJ-ing world eventually led him to leave his job as a software engineer in late 2019. "A lot of sacrifices and hard work really," he admits. Leaving his home and living with his best friend, John Odin, served as a defining period in his career, propelling him forward. "Fast forward years later, we're here enjoying the life I've built with the help of amazing people."
HOEST's musical style reflects a blend of personal flair, inspiration, and environment influence from the industry. Known for his prowess in House, Techno, and Electronic music, he reveals that his sets have evolved to incorporate genre-bending elements. "I was lucky enough to be friends with great minds in the industry," he shares, citing artists like Parnassus, John Odin, Martin Pulgar, and more who have inspired him to push personal and creative boundaries and improve not only himself but his craft.

As an artist looking to leave a lasting impact and striving for a good legacy, HOEST hopes to be remembered for the heartfelt performances he's given on dance floors around the world. "When they say my name, 'That's the guy who inspired a new breed of artists,'" he envisions.
International tours have become a regular fixture in HOEST's career, exposing him to diverse cultures and experiences. "The best part is definitely traveling to a different country and experiencing their culture," he enthuses, adding that it's a challenge to stand out among well-known artists in foreign territories. "I think I would have never traveled a lot if my career never took off the way it did so I'm really blessed and grateful for everything."
Looking ahead, HOEST remains focused on honing his craft and inspiring the next generation of DJs and producers. With a work ethic that doesn't stop, just like his performances, this multifaceted artist is about to leave an indelible print on the worldwide music scene.
