Manila, Philippines — Concluding their sold-out three-day Stardust concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, chart-topping Filipino band Cup of Joe is ready to blast off for their world tour, which includes several stops across the United States and Canada, and one in Dubai, throughout October and November.
In their third major solo concert, the band successfully reached full capacity on all three show days at The Big Dome. This milestone marks history for The Araneta Group, which honored Cup of Joe as the first Filipino band to achieve a total of five sold-out concert days in a single year.
Stardust featured performances of the band’s best known tracks such as “Tingin,” “Misteryoso,” “Ikaw Pa Rin Ang Pipiliin Ko,” “Estranghero,” their latest single “Sandali,” and the record-breaking “Multo.” Cup of Joe also invited surprise guests and special numbers each day, including Pinoy hip-hop artist Gloc-9 with “Bagsakan,” legendary OPM band APO Hiking Society with “Panalangin,” and singer-songwriter and composer Yeng Constantino with “Jeepney Love Story.”
Meanwhile, the band also received awards from Believe Music for reaching a total of 4 billion streams across all music platforms, making them the most-streamed artist in the Philippines. Surpassing over 11.6 million monthly listeners on the platform, Cup of Joe’s “Multo” also holds the record for the longest-running #1 song and highest single-day streams in Spotify Philippines’ history.
Alongside the success of “Multo,” Billboard Philippines also awarded Cup of Joe for spending 27 consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard Philippines Top 100, naming it the longest-charting top song on the Billboard PH chart.
Now all set for their world tour, Cup of Joe will have shows at the Saban Theater in Los Angeles on October 31; Graton Resort and Casino in Santa Rosa - San Francisco on November 1 and 2; Chinese Cultural Center in Calgary on November 7; Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton on November 8; Transcona Country Club in Winnipeg on November 14; Chandos Pattison Auditorium in Vancouver on November 15; The Arena Pickering Casino Resort in Toronto on November 16; and Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on November 29.
