Careless' first ever music festival, WavyBaby, is bound to make the return of Sinulog one for the books.
Wavy Baby is a two-day music festival happening on January13-14,2023 at the North Reclamation Area in Mandaue City, Cebu with a lineup of over 20 artists recognized both locally and internationally.
Wavy Baby will feature international performers PinkSweat$, BamBam, Sunmi, TheRose, BagRaiders, Manila Grey and Yultron. All artists signed under Careless namely, JamesReid, Massiah, Jolianne, Lesha, August Wahh, Issa, SOS, Destiny Rogers, and A-TEAM will also be performing.
Pink Sweat$ is an American R&B singer-songwroter known for his first single, "Honesty", which reached #10 on Spotify's US Viral Chart
Bambam is a Thai rapper, dancer, singer-songwriter, and producer based in Korea. He is best known as one of the members of the popular k-pop super group GOT7 and is behind worldwide hits “riBBon” and “Slow Mo.”
Korean singer-songwriter, Sunmi, is known for her award-winning and chart-topping tracks "Gashina," "Heroine," and "Siren."
Actor, singer, songwriter and record producer, James Reid is a true creative with a tireless passion for developing his artistry and is the founder and president of Careless.
Lesha is a singer-songwriter, YouTube content creator, and record producer behind edgy electropop tracks “Two Faced” and "Bury," which is her hit collaboration with Australian rapper/producer, Riddo, that gained over half a million streams online and charted #1 on Spotify.
Other Filipino acts include Ben&Ben, December Avenue, Urbandub, Franco, DeniseJulia, and more. The festival will also feature local Cebuano acts such as CookieS, TheSundown, Mandaue Nights, Three Legged Men, and Wonggoys.
Ben&Ben is a nine-piece folk pop/pop rock band from the Philippines and is behind the phenomenal tracks, "Pagtingin" and "Lifetime." They have been ranked as the most-streamed Filipino artist on Spotify for two straight years (2021 and 2020) with a certified 4x Platinum for their debut album Limasawa Street.
Denise Julia is a breakout star with her single ‘NVMD’ that soundtracked millions of videos across TikTok. To date, the Filipino singer-songwriter’s viral track has over 7.2 million streams of Spotify and is also one of the most streamed tracks by a female OPM artists in the platform right now.
Careless' CEO, Jeffrey Oh, says "we're really excited to do Wavy Baby in Sinulog because it's the biggest and most historic festival in the Philippines. We want to build a festival that brings the best of the Philippines and the world together to meet and celebrate life and culture, which is what Sinulog is all about. We call it Wavy Baby because we want a wavy lifestyle and a wavy mindset. It also pays homage to Sinulog because the Sinulog symbols are water and the baby Jesus so it's also a nod to that as well. We're excited to be part of the Cebu family and build something special that hopefully we can repeat year after year."
The festival itself will be held at the North Reclamation Area in Mandaue City Cebu. There will be an ArtistLounge, VIP Lounge, a VIP Area in front of the stage, Cocktail Pods, Sponsor'sHives, and MarketPod.
The Cocktail Pod serves as an area for anyone to purchase drinks at the venue while the Market Pod is designated for food and other merchandise that will be sold. The Sponsor's Hive will be where WavyBaby's brand partners will have different booths that festival goers can visit.
Regular tickets will be priced at Php 8,510 for VIP and Php 4,260 for Gen Ad.
