Poblacion, Makati City, Philippines -- Alex Calleja and his crew, The Comedy Crew, had a blast last Saturday, March 16 at The Astbury in Poblacion. In partnership with The New Hue, the gang gives the audience a breath of fresh air for the stand-up comedy scene in the Philippines.
The mixture of culture and experience introduced the audience to another way of relaxing and recharging by having a good laugh. There was a separate area for dining which enables the crowd to focus more on the show in a theater-like setup which The Astbury brings. The group composed of Calleja together with Israel Buenaobra, Mak Navarez, Jep Gallon, Yuki Horikoshi and more offers a certain brand of jokes that is adaptive and suits well to our ears striking a balance approach to comedy.
They recently announced as well their Dubai show happening at Dubai Opera on April 13, 2024. Let's Tawa sa Pobla will also be back at The Astbury on April 6, 2024.
